We are offering a week of activities, healing & support for families directly affected by the tragedy in Newtown, CT at no charge from August 5-11, 2013.

Today's youngsters have a lot of exposure to the pressure and anonymity of the everyday world. Summer camping provides a welcome interlude: a time to forget about the latest style in sneakers, a time to realize that nature can still set the rhythms of our lives. Friendship comes into play, as does the chance to embrace new ideas, values, and activities. We believe that Regis-Applejack is particularly suited to helping campers realize these achievements.

Campers live in rustic lodges with living rooms and fireplaces overlooking a majestic Adirondack lake. The Humes family who have directed the camp since 1946 feel that camping is at its best when it strives for excellence and welcomes children from various religions, races and nationalities.

Our warm, supportive and relaxed environment provides a meaningful and exciting experience that each camper will remember and cherish for years to come.

The program is one in which acceptance and encouragement from within the community fosters a growth in confidence, an increase in knowledge and an acceleration of achievement.
