Camp is located on Upper St. Regis Lake, one of the largest in the Adirondack Park. Here are wide open spaces for sailing and waterskiing, as well as narrow byways that link Upper St. Regis to adjoining lakes and streams. Directly from our own dock we can set out for an overnight camping trip or even a longer excursion. We can hear the call of the loons, see otter, beaver and eagle, feel the breeze in our faces when we sail and sense the sweet, fresh water when we swim. All of this in country that is wild and pristine and where civilization is left behind.

Indeed, getting in touch with nature not only offers campers a valuable respite from the often hectic pace of their lives, but begins a relationship with nature that they may come to value, and return to, throughout their lifetime. The Adirondack Park is an unparalleled setting and opportunity for realizing these benefits.

Camp Craft: Campers learn many skills such as: where to properly locate a tent, how to erect it, how to make an outdoor fire, how to safely sharpen and use an axe, as well as many other related skills.
Canoe Trips: The many unspoiled lakes, rivers and streams near camp afford marvelous opportunities for one adventure after another in country and wilderness settings.
Conservation-Ecology: We try to help our campers to understand about the limited resources of planet earth and how each one of us can live fully, while still helping to conserve.
Cookouts: A favorite activity with campers, cookouts range from complete picnics to simple meals cooked on the trail. One of the favorite treats after dinner is a s'more (graham crackers chocolate and melted marshmallows).
Hiking and Climbing: Excursions range from day trips, along one of the many nature trails in the area to challenging hikes, for the stronger & more experienced climber, in the surrounding high peaks range.
Orienteering: Offered to help our campers be more self-sufficient in the woods, this skill includes compass reading, actualizing, and map reading.
Overnight Campouts: Whether at the Regis-Applejack camp site on our own property, up in the mountains, or on an island in one of the many nearby lakes, opportunities abound for overnight camping. Overnight trips are scheduled not only for each cabin group, but also are available on an optional basis for those campers interested in a more involved and specialized program.
